PermaFill™ Is a battery operated, hard fill wood touch-up and
repair system that is much easier to use than the traditional hard
fill process. The system works on stained, painted, natural, wood,
laminates, and other surfaces. Each cartridge contains enough
material to complete up to 25 repairs. The
cartridges are available in 18 colors as 6 color families to
match any surface.
You can use it anywhere that has a deep scratch or gouge. This
includes cabinets, stairs, furniture, antiques, floors, trim,
millwork, and more. The possibilities are endless!
The PermaFill™ Wood Touch-Up and Repair System includes
everything you need to complete your repairs at home! The box
contains the PermaFill™ dispenser, four PermaFill™ cartridges (in
the most popular colors), leveling and finishing tools, batteries,
a clean cloth, and a brush tip graining marker.
Now that you know what you can use it on, here's how you use the
PermaFill™:
If this is your first time using the PermaFill™ system, you will
need to insert the batteries (which are included). You can do this
by flipping the dispenser over and removing the scrapper and
finishing tool. You will then use a phillip's head screwdriver to
install the batteries. Once the batteries are installed, flip the
dispenser back over, and follow these simple steps.
- Open the top, and load your PermaFill™ cartridge in your
desired color (a color that is close to your finish) by pushing the
tip all the way through the end of the gun.
- Press the trigger on the dispenser to advance the ram until it
reaches the end of the cartridge, and close the top.
- Push the button, you'll see that the indicator light turns red,
and when it's ready to use it will turn green.
- Dispense the PermaFill™ using your gun by pulling the trigger
as many times as you need to fill in the area.
- Once it hardens, you are ready to level it. Just place the
scraper tool right over the center of your repair and rub back and
forth.
- Remove the scotch brite pad and rub it around the area of your
repair to remove any wax residue.
- Your final step is going to be to use your brush tip graining
marker to help mimic the look of the wood or laminate surrounding
the repair. Use the marker to try and match the grain of the wood
around the repair.
