5 Minute DIY: Easter Chicks
April 14, 2017
We love easy DIY's. The easier, the better! And just because
they're easy, it doesn't mean they lack in cuteness. In just a few
minutes you can create the cutest Spring or Easter decorations with
this Spring Chicks DIY. Did we mention there's hardly any clean up
involved? Grab your kiddos because they'll love making these little
chicks too!
Items Needed
- Casual Straw Ultra Mark
- Black #2 Ultra Mark
- Orange construction paper
- Wood circles
- Scissors
- Tape or glue
Let's Get Started
First, you'll want to color in the wood circles with the Casual
Straw Ultra Mark. Prepare the marker as directed here and simply color the wood
circle as you would color anything else with a marker.
Then get your Black #2 Ultra Mark ready in the same way as
before to add the eyes.
Grab your orange paper and fold it in half. Cut out a small
triangle with the base of the triangle along the fold, creating a
beak. Scrap paper works great for this because you're using so
little of it!
Attach the beak to the colored wood circles with glue or a small
piece of tape.
And just like that, you're done! This inexpensive DIY can be
done with many items that you already have around the house and
it's also easy enough for little kids to do!
