Leather Cleaner, our neutral pH water-based foaming cleanser, gently removes soiling, protein, and water based stains without harming the leather's natural beauty and feel. This cleanser works effectively on all grained, top-coated and aniline leathers, but we do not recommend it for Nubuck leathers.

Step-By-Step Instructions

Step 1

Pre-test both Leather Cleaner and Leather Protector Wipes (or Leather Protector) in an inconspicuous area to be sure there is no color loss or darkening after drying. Apply the products listed to a white cloth and rub in the hidden area. If color transfers to the white cloth, do not use the product.

Step 2

Vacuum the leather with a soft brush attachment.

Step 3

Shake well.

Step 4

Apply Leather Cleaner to a sponge and then squeeze the sponge to create foam.

Step 5

Use the sponge to gently scrub the leather. Add Leather Cleaner to the sponge as needed and squeeze for a foam after each addition.

Step 6            

Wipe the leather dry with a soft, clean cloth.

Step 7

Leather should always have a coat of Protector to avoid permanent staining from spills and to promote easier cleaning in the future. Use Leather Protector Wipes (or Leather Protector) to apply a coat of Protector.

Step 8

Allow the Protector to dry for about an hour before using the furniture. Maximum protection is achieved after 24 hours of drying.

Note:

Should a spill occur on the protected leather, clean the area immediately. Leather Protector is designed to slow the penetration of liquids, but it does not hold the liquid away from the leather indefinitely.
