Mohawk's Leather Protector is designed to provide leather with an invisible barrier to repel oil, alcohol, protein and water based stains. Cleaning and protecting routines are recommended at least 2-4 times per year to maintain stain-resistance and easy cleaning.

Step-By-Step Instructions

Step 1

Test both Leather Cleaner and Leather Protector in an inconspicuous area to be sure there is no color loss or darkening after drying.

Step 2

Clean the leather with Leather Cleaner or Leather Clean & Renew according to directions.

Step 3

Shake the Leather Protector well.

Step 4

Pour Leather Protector liberally into the soft cloth.

Step 5          

Use the wetted cloth to wipe on Leather Protector liberally and evenly. Rewet the cloth as needed.

Step 6

Allow the Protector to dry for about an hour before using the furniture. Maximum protection is achieved after 24 hours of drying.

Step 7

If you want the leather to be shinier, buff the leather with a clean soft cloth.

Note:

Should a spill occur on the protected leather, clean the area immediately. Leather Protector is designed to slow the penetration of liquids, but it does not hold the liquid away from the leather indefinitely.
