Step-By-Step Instructions
Step 1
Match the color of the Hard Fill stick as closely as possible to
the color of the wood. Keep in mind, that multiple hard fill sticks
may be blended using the burn-in knife.
Step 2
After the correct color is found, sand the edges of the repair
down with fine grit sandpaper to ensure that a quality repair is
achieved.
Step 3
Take a matching Ultra Mark or Pro Mark wood touch up marker and
slowly color the repair and wipe off the excess stain with a paper
towel. This should be done so that the repair blends
well.
Step 4
Turn on the Battery Operated Burn-In Knife and apply the
tip to the hard fill stick.
Step 5
Hold the hard fill stick over the damaged area and let the hard
fill cover the tip of the tool.
Step 6
Once the hard fill is on the tip of the burn-in knife, slowly
place the melted wood solution into the repair.
Step 7
Make sure that the wood repair wax covers the entire flaw - use
an old credit card to press the warm solution into all areas of the
repair
Step 8
After it has dried, take the Hard Fill Leveling Tool and remove excess the
excess solution. This tool will not harm or scratch the
surrounding areas.
Step 9
Once the excess material has been removed, take a microfiber rag
or paper towel and buff the repaired area
Step 10
If graining is required, use the corresponding Brush Tip Graining Marker to blend the repair
into the surrounding area
